Wonderful Tonight

So, I am absolutely obsessed with the 60's. I love the music, the artists, the fashion and the idea of peace and love. I recently read the book Wonderful Tonight by Pattie Boyd. She was once married to George Harrison of the Beatles and Eric Clapton. In this novel I found a quote by Eric Clapton that I love, "The thing about pessimism is that in most cases it's nothing more than a front behind which a body can hide its most sweet yet painful hopes."
People will often describe me as being a pessimist; next time they do, I ask that they listen to the wise words of Eric Clapton. One can never fully understand another, the past hides too much.
