San Francisco
"San Francisco is one of my favourite cities in the world…I would probably rank it at the top or near the top. It’s small but photogenic and has layers…You never have problems finding great angles that people have never done."
- Ang Lee
Over Presidents weekend I went to San Francisco to visit family and friends. My cousin's husband Ben picked me up from the airport and I spend the night at their house. In the morning I got to spend time with my baby cousin Abby playing and feeding her breakfast before I went to my old roommate Kyle's house.
We went into the city, walked around Union Square, and examined the art at SFMOMA. Kyle and I then went to meet up with some friends from Pepperdine and had dinner and a show at AsiaSF.
On Saturday morning I went to meet up with my neighbor Emily. We went to all of her favorite places: Samovar Tea House, Hot Cookies, bookstores and a park. I went with her to her work, a Mexican restaurant called Tacko. Kyle met me there before we met Mattie, Mal and Carly at Blondie's Bar.
When Sunday morning rolled around, I packed my bags and met my cousins in Walnut Creek for brunch before heading to the airport. All in all, it was a very successful, fun and relaxing weekend.
