All of September my life was consumed of Alpha Phi. Starting the third day of school we started preparing for Recruitment. We had meeting every night and weekend. Polish Week is the bane of my existence. All of the practice and meetings means no sleep which means no good health for Shannon. I was sick for the first three weeks of school (not the best way to start off the new school year).
But in the end it was all worth it. We got a new pledge class. A new class of 20 sweet and kind-hearted girl. Bid Night we went down to the carousel at the Santa Monica Pier. I had an absolute blast. Carousels are, after all, one of my top five favorite things in the entire world. Man, I really am a kid at heart.
