Again, I cannot believe that Coachella has come and gone. After buying your ticket, you wait months and months until the 3 day festival and as soon as it's here, it's all over.
Kiersten, Ruairi, Mattie and I stayed at a condo for the weekend, but it was more like a hotel. Every day the girls and I would go down to the pool to tan and then we would get ready for the day. Day 1 we saw: Kings of Leon, the Black Keys, the Chemical Brothers, Brandon Flowers, Crystal Castles, Cee Lo Green, Cold War Kids, Sleigh Bells, Warpaint, the Morning Benders, and the Aquabats. Ruairi's friends Austin, Brian and Alec came up to Indio that night and picked us up from the concert.
Ruairi's friends didn't have wristbands so we snuck them in. It was a lot harder than we anticipated. The new bracelets have a magnet on them which require you to scan in and out. We had to have one person scan out with out scanning back in, but come back in so they could cut the wristband and someone else could walk it out and give it to one of the boys. It was a long process, but in the end they were able to get in. Day 2: Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Mumford & Sons, Bright Eyes, Empire of the Sun, Broken Social Scene, the New Pornographers, the Swell Season, and Two Door Cinema Club.
Day 3: Kanye West, the Strokes, Duran Duran, the National, Nas & Damian Marley, Ratatat, Wiz Khalifa, Jimmy Eat World, Chromeo, neon Trees, Best Coast, Jack's Mannequin, CSS, Delorean and Phantogram.
