It is a rainy Sunday afternoon, perfect for curling up on the couch and watching a movie. As I am writing this, I am watching John Duigan's Head in the Clouds starring Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz and Stuart Townsend. This movie is a sweeping romantic drama set in 1930's England, Paris and Spain. Three lost and confused souls find each other and latch on. They seem to be growing closer, yet at the same time drifting apart. Can their love for each other keep them together or will it tear them apart?
I loved the costume designs in the movie. The 1930's was conservative and flirty. Women expressed their creativity through their clothing, the hats, the gloves, the long-mermaid dresses.
